Pharmacy.Ai

Pharmacy.Ai is a pharmacy platform designed to simplify prescription fulfillment through AI, automation, and an intuitive experience for both pharmacists and patients. I led product design and strategy across two core products: an AI-powered engine for pharmacists, and a mobile-first prescription tracking tool for patients.

⬤ 01. Development Journey

Designing the Pharmacy.Ai Brand and Platform for Scalable AI-Driven Pharmacy Solutions

The Challenge

The U.S. prescription landscape is fragmented, slow, and error-prone — with delays, dosage mismatches, and administrative inefficiencies creating friction for both pharmacists and patients. We set out to:

  • Build an AI-native platform that supports pharmacists in real-time.

  • Create a consumer-trustworthy brand in a regulated, clinical space.

  • Stand out in a saturated pharmacy and health-tech space.

Discovery & Research

    • We conducted a competitive analysis of pharmacy tech products like Alto, Capsule, Truepill, and Amazon Pharmacy, focusing on:

      • Pain points in prescription fulfillment

      • Trust signals in health-tech branding

      • Feature gaps around AI and decision support

We also interviewed pharmacists, clinical advisors, and patients to understand both backend workflow needs and front-end user expectation

My Role

  • Product Strategy & Positioning
Defined the product narrative, differentiating Pharmacy.Ai from legacy pharmacy systems through AI-native workflows.

  • UX/UI Design
Created interfaces for core tools including prescription entry, AI suggestions, drug matching, and refill workflows.

  • Design System
Built a scalable system to unify clinical, consumer, and brand-facing interfaces with accessibility in mind.

  • Brand Identity
Developed the entire visual identity from scratch — logo, color palette, typography, and tone of voice — blending medical credibility with modern innovation.

Key Features Designed

    • AI Matching Engine (Pharmacy.Ai)
Real-time suggestions for best-fit drugs, based on patient data, insurance, and availability.

    • Prescription Dashboard (Pharmacy.Ai)
Simplified flow for pharmacists to review, confirm, and track prescriptions.

    • Automated Refill Reminders
Smart notifications triggered by refill cycles and patient adherence behavior.

    • Clinical Insights Panel
A dynamic module surfacing AI-suggested notes, contraindications, or red flags during entry.

Process

      • 1. Wireframes & Prototyping
Created low-fidelity flows to map the core pharmacist journey → refined into high-fidelity interactive prototypes in Figma.

        2. User Testing
Tested prototypes with practicing pharmacists and iterated flows for speed and safety.

        3. Brand Application
Rolled out branding across product UIs, marketing site, and print packaging assets to maintain consistency and trustworthine

Outcome & Impact

  • Cut prescription input time by ~40% in pharmacist pilot tests

  • Increased confidence in AI-driven recommendations via contextual insights

  • Created a differentiated visual and product identity in a crowded space

  • Scalable design system now used across all Pharmacy.Ai product lines

Reflection

Designing for a regulated, clinical environment demanded a deep balance of speed and safety. This project pushed me to think holistically — from pharmacist workflows to brand perception to technical AI integrations. Vials is now poised to redefine pharmacy infrastructure for the future.
